Some Good Information, But Now I'm Really Confused

This book has some good information. But I wish that 2 of the points made, were explained better and in more detail. The first one is on getting authority bloggers/site owners in one's niche, to write a review for your book and be compensated for it. I read it over 4 times, and still couldn't figure out the conflicting advice, which now has me confused.
First the book stated that it is aware of Amazon's terms of service that you can't have a paid review on their website. But in the next page, it then went on to say, "Be sure he understands you do not want him to put his review of your book inside of Amazon, UNLESS he says in his review that it was a 'compensated' review". So I'm confused. If this happens, then isn't this exactly what goes against Amazon's TOS ? If you pay someone $50 to $100 to review your book and recommend it to their mailing list, and they then go and post a review on Amazon and the review ends up there as well as their own website, or even instead of his own website, won't that jeopardize my account with Amazon when they find out ?
It goes on to say that, the truth is we don't care if he puts his review on Amazon or not, and that we should tell him we want him to read our book and specifically "share his review with his subscribers". Which sounds fine, if this person follows directions. Otherwise, I'm afraid to think of the trouble this may cause me when Amazon finds out.
The other tip I wish was explained in more detail, was about the authority niche mailing list owners putting their Amazon affiliate link to your book in their emails, and how it's against Amazon's TOS. But to let them deal with how they will handle the affiliate links. So, does this mean that if they get caught or approached by Amazon, that I will be held responsible ? Confused at how this was explained.
Again, since the guide was geared and billed towards individuals who have either not yet published their book, or have published very few books, I only wish the conflicting pieces of advice were just explained in more detail, as I don't want to do something that would jeopardize all my hard work. I think if the book had a couple more pages of detail, that would have been super.
If I have completely misunderstood the sentences that were written in the book, my apologies, so if anyone has more details on the exact in's and out's of doing this with no risk, please feel free to jump in. Thanks.

A Roadmap to Bookselling Success

This short read is an excellent guide to help people like me sell more books. I am a self-published author of two books; one nonFiction and one KindleShortreads fiction book. I have been stumbling around trying many things to sell my books. I was happy with the 350 copies of the the nonfiction book because it established me as an expert in the field of wiriting proposals to help businesses get business with the Government.
My little fiction book, however, is another story. It is my baby . . . A story about the warriors when defend our skies! I have been frustrated because I work full time writing my technical proposals and have been trying many time intensive methods to get people to notice my fiction book. My sales haVe been limited only around 850 copies. . . My frustration has been - I have been spinning my wheels trying to get people to notice my little book taking up the time I could use to pursue other writing projects ( including continuing my warrior's journey).
Mr. Platt has provided a roadmap for me, and others like me, to establish a system where we can get others to provide our books the light of day. It may take a little effort but the end result will be a systems serving me from book to book.
I highly recommend this book for those who want success in the write ting field.

No Brainer....get it now.

This is of the best books I have ever read on the subject of book marketing. Far too many books just give you a broad outline of what it takes to market a book. They say...."Make a good book and have a social media profile." Excuse me? Of course we all know that. I need information that leads to some directly actionable steps to take to get my books in front of the eyeballs of people who would most likely want to read them....PERIOD. Bill does that here. Sure, you will have to do a tiny bit of leg work but he points you directly where that leg work needs to be directed and how to go about it.
I highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to get more sales....I am implementing my new found strategies literally as I am writing this. THANKS BILL!!
